Our members play a crucial role in the vibrancy of our association, with a dedicated team of board members working tirelessly to ensure the successful execution of our events and activities each month. As a non-religious and non-political organization, we hold a deep respect for all religious festivals, celebrating them without imposing any beliefs on anyone. Our inclusive approach means everyone is welcome to join our events, such as our monthly meet-and-greets and cafe connects, where we facilitate engaging discussions and sometimes feature guest speakers. Our commitment to giving back is evident through our charitable donations, with our members always ready to support. Fundraising for charities through various activities is another aspect of our work. Additionally, we occasionally organize travel trips exclusively for ladies. Ultimately, our association’s ethos is to celebrate and work through our differences, uniting us in our diversity.

Over the years, IWAKL has been a beacon of hope and support, actively engaging in various charitable initiatives through fundraising. Our endeavors have extended a helping hand to old folks’ homes, Orang Asli communities, underprivileged families, and refugee centers. We’ve proudly collaborated with organizations such as the Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA), among others. Each effort is a step towards making a significant impact, showcasing our commitment to uplift and support the most vulnerable in our society.
