My aspirations are to bring IWA-KL to greater heights by raising membership,coming up with better programs and more charitable works. I would love to leave a legacy of charity works for IWA-KL and it is my belief that this is possible as I have a great, capable and dynamic Board behind me this year in whom I have a great deal of faith.

Hi friends, I am from new Delhi n after finishing my secondary education from a convent school went on to pursue a degree in BSC (home sc) Delhi university. And then a diploma in textile designing which is my business today n a diploma in travel n tourism. Destiny brought me to KL when I got married to my husband and learnt to say ‘LAH’. Have one son who is studying law.Been with IWA since 1990 n have served in the committee for diff posts. Also very active with speakers club. .Love to travel, meet people n make friends for I believe life is too short. Love food n collecting recipe books n just opened our new north Indian restaurant to put them to use. Wish to bring IWA to glory and its only possible when we work together.

I like travelling and experiencing different cultures, enjoy multicultural environment and dynamics.Among my hobbies are marathon running and diving. Originally from the north-west of England I am relatively new to KL as we only moved over here in April 2011. Malaysia won a place in my husband’s heart 30 years ago when he worked as a science teacher in Sabah. Now that we are “empty nesters” (my son is 27 and my daughter is 23), we decided to have an adventure and thus my husband is in the early stages of establishing a small drug discovery company here.  I am an accredited counsellor / mediator who has worked for the last twenty-five years in Leadership Development as both a trainer and a coach.  I have been lucky enough through my work to work with people from many countries. I love the aims of IWAKL and I am very motivated to encourage women from every nationality to get to know and support each other and have the opportunity to learn from each other.
